Bah, Handbag

So, Christmas is looming ever nearer, with a mere 12 days to go until we’ll have another brilliant opportunity to get pissed with our families. Yesterday, that evil South African man tightened my brace for what will hopefully have been the last time, and I’m certain it’s never been as bad as this. For those of you fortunate enough not to know what it’s like to have your brace tightened, imagine somebody taking a pair of pliers to each of your teeth, and twisting all of them around at the same time. Then, try and eat.
As the majority of people who’ve seen me open my locker will know, I have a stash. This stash (at it’s peak) consisted of 24 cans of Coke, and several packs of Tesco Value custard creams. By now I’m probably down to about 6 Cokes, but that’s another story entirely. My breakfast and lunch today consisted of 5 custard creams, which due to the new-found pain in my teeth, took 50 minutes to eat altogether. So, it was no wonder that suddenly drinking 2 cans of Coke with my painkillers caused me to get a sugar rush during maths, and lose the ability to not laugh. I also developed something of a twitch in my right eye, which carried on for bloody ever.
So, at lunchtime I got glomped by Jenny, who too was hyper, but for the reason that she’s diabetic and her natural insulin levels are incredibly unstable. We ended up going to Tesco with Dodge, Sam and Farrar, where they all bought lots of delicious food which I knew I couldn’t eat. Now I know how people who diet feel!
This evening I ended up going shopping with my mum, trying to find a new coat, but that failed so I went to find Caley and Louise who were in town, and ended up spending the rest of the time with them before I went home, which was great, despite the horrible coldness.
As to the image accompanying this post, last night I downloaded the latest episode of PurePwnage, and watched it today. It has to be said, they’re getting better and better at filming it, and making an enjoyable piece of film. I only wish I could have been there for the showings in Bath, but unfortunately I didn’t have the means to go 120 miles in 30 minutes.
