Windows Live Messenger Beta Invitations

I have 5! For those of you out of the loop, Microsoft have decided to entirely re-brand their range of web services from ‘MSN’ to ‘Windows Live’. With this, comes the release of Windows Live Messenger 8.0, the version that is currently entering the public (limited) beta stages. At the moment, access to the beta is invitation-based, similar to the technique employed by GMail when it was first opened to the public. I have 5 of these invites, which I will be giving out to people who comment here with a good reason why I should do so.

Otherwise, I’ll donate them to mess.be.

All invitations gone! Keep your eyes trained on the mess.be, where they have invite giveaways every day.

New Passport Account

MSN Messenger LogoFor those of you who I have on my contact list, expect an add request from ‘msn@jimmed.net’ this evening, as I’ve gotten fed up of the synchronisation issues I’m having with my passport account, whereby I can’t see contacts and they can’t see me - only resolved by me deleting re-adding everybody. Hopefully the new account will solve this, but I can’t promise anything.

If anything, it’ll stop y’all getting annoyed with me adding everybody every week or so, or whenever I notice that there’s a serious lack of people online.

Update: I’ve added everybody now - if you haven’t heard anything then get in touch with me! I’ll sort it.
