For anybody who was watching just then (and now too), I’m rearranging stuff on my blog and it’s gone a bit belly up - if you see a huge list of pages that you weren’t expecting, it’s because I’m fiddling with the theming and some of the pages. Sorry!

Seeing as the comment spammers have gotten wise to WordPress’s features, I’m having to turn comment author moderation on again. If you have already posted a comment before now (and not had it deleted), then your comments will be accepted automatically, otherwise I have to manually accept it.

Until now, spam artists would fill their spam with links to a website, and the odd phrase such as ‘Great website’ or ‘thanks for the advice’, but thankfully WordPress would pick up anything with many links in it. Now they’ve started lifting entire sentences from websites, and posting that, then just pointing the comment author to their address. Which means I had about 400 bizarre comments. Oh well.

I’m gonna be updating the site a bit in the next day or two, so if things don’t show up correctly, wait a few minutes and everything should be OK. If not, email me and I’ll try and fix it.

The aim of this update is to re-theme the blog to the concept design I did a few weeks back. I’m also going to try and hack together a gallery mod for WordPress, but I can’t promise anything in the slightest.
